Drum Session with Mr. Aaron Sterling
As a massive fan of Aaron's drumming it was an exciting couple of days getting Aaron to drum on a couple of songs we were producing for a new artist we're soon to be releasing, Kizzy Crawford. It was a delight to work with the Crazy King of Groove, and with a roster on his CV with names like John Mayer, Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles and The Civil Wars, it promised sexy tones and it delivered sexy tones.

1 Million Views in a Day!
Xiumin and Mark, two artists from two of the biggest boybands in the world, EXO and NCT, teamed up for a one off single release with a song Willie wrote while in LA working with two top writers Andreas Oberg and Drew Ryan Scott.
The video was released a day before a huge concert was planned in Seoul to launch the single, and in that one day the youtube video notched up a whopping 1.4m views! Have a look and a listen here and enjoy!

New Newton Faulkner Record Drops
And the good news doesn't stop there, as multitalented singer/songwriter Newton Faulkner has one of Willie's songs 'Never Alone' included on his album. Trip to South Africa
Willie had the huge honour of being invited to Durban, South Africa with the Worship Central team to be a part of the LIV Village live album recording. It was an incredible experience just to soak up the life-giving joy in the village that gives opportunity and belief to orphans and even more so to hear the talent of some of the kids and the LIV Village choir that performed with Worship Central.

Special Night at St Paul's
During the weekend the church celebrates Pentecost there were numerous events at cathedrals around the UK taking place. It was a special honour to be in the historic building of St Paul's Cathedral MD'ing for artists Matt Redman and Guvna B leading a crowd in prayer and celebration.
The night was made even more poignant being followed by the attacks on Tower Bridge a few roads away, just a few minutes after the event finished. As a Londoner through and through it was devastating to see the destruction and feel the fear that was attempted to be spread, but even more heart-warming to see the way the city pulled together in the following days.
LA Writing Trip
Another milestone made with Willie's first time trip to the home of pop music, Los Angeles. This had been a long time coming and was well worth the wait. Travelling with great friend and top Producer @bubbamcc1, some top class writing sessions were had, some incredible people were met, and some mandatory LA extra curricular activity (Lakers game, Runyon hikes, Venice Beach sunning, San Fran roadtrip) made for an unforgettable time!
The songs from the trip are already proving valuable with 2 releases already made since. There will definitely be a return leg soon, with Nashville also calling strong with future projects lined up there. God Bless America.
BBC Introducing Willie Weeks
Its crazy when you hear your own music on the radio... So we were buzzed when BBC Introducing made Willie Weeks' single, 'Let's Pretend', their 'Track of the Day'! The song was played numerous times throughout the day and on different regional stations around the country, to great response. It didn't stop there as the song was then picked up a few more times on BBC stations around the country in the following weeks.
